CEBU CITY -- One of the most wanted persons in Cebu was arrested here on Monday, Nov. 14.
Mark Stephen Bano Lolor, 32, of San Francisco town, Camotes, Cebu was arrested past 7 p.m. in Barangay Calamba, Cebu City.
Lolor had a standing warrant of arrest after he was charged with robbery, said Brig, Gen. Roderick Augustus Alba, chief of the Police Regional Office-Central Visayas (PRO-7).
Assisting Judge Flor Amor Opon of the Regional Trial Court Branch 25 in Danao City issued the arrest warrant against Lolor with a bail of P48,000.
Lolor will be facing more charges after sachets of suspected shabu worth at least P1,000 were found in his possession during the arrest, said Alba.
Police said the man was involved in several highway robberies in Camotes.
He was also accused of being an ‘akyat bahay,’ a common modus of thieves who break into homes usually in the wee hours to steal valuables.
Police said the suspect moved to Cebu in May 2022.
While in Cebu, the suspect got into illegal drug peddling to defray his daily expenses.
Police said the suspect was capable of selling 25 to 50 grams of shabu per week.
