3 gunrunners nabbed in Tarlac

TARLAC CITY – Police arrested three suspected gunrunners in Concepcion, Tarlac on Wednesday, Nov. 16.

Lt. Col. Warly Bitog of the Tarlac Police Provincial Office identified the suspects as Lolito Pineda, 44; Wilfredo Puno, 55, and Aldrin Larete, 47.

The suspects were arrested after they sold a 9mm Taurus PT pistol with 15 bullets to a police poseur-buyer for P25,000.

Also seized from the suspects were three cellular phones, two motorcycles, and the boodle money.

Appropriate charges are being prepared against the suspects.
