PDEA nabs 4 drug suspects in Valenzuela buy-bust

Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested four suspected drug pushers on Tuesday night, Nov. 15, during a buy-bust operation in Valenzuela City.

PDEA agents said that suspected drug den maintainer Anthony Dalida, 42; Reynaldo PJ Tadaya, 28; Mark Anthony Buan, 32 and Randy Peteza, 34 were nabbed after authorities conducted the operation at around 7:30 p.m. at Villa Barretto in Canumay West, Valenzuela City.

Authorities conducted several months of surveillance on the activities of Dalida, who was the subject of the operation, before the buy-bust was made upon the advice of an asset.

Aside from 17 grams of shabu, the PDEA agents confiscated various drug paraphernalia, a motorcycle and identification cards while the drug den was eventually torn down.

The suspects face charges for violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 otherwise known as “The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.’’ (Chito A. Chavez)
