Pasay police arrest vlogger/rapper artist 'Haring Manggi' in Cavite

A vlogger/rapper was arrested by members of the Pasay City police Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) for illegal possession of drugs on Monday, Nov.14.

According to the city police chief, Col, Byron Tabernilla, the vlogger/rapper artist, Daniel Miguel Migallen Naguit, known as “Haring Manggi” was arrested around 4:30 p.m. inside District Mall in Imus, Cavite City.

Tabernilla said the arrest of Naguit was made after members of the WSS saw his vlog selling bonnets with markings of “Haring Manggi” to attract more followers.

He said a police poseur buyer contacted Naguit and arranged for a meet-up in Imus, Cavite.

The city police chief said members of the WSS immediately served the warrant of arrest issued by Judge Judge Edilwasif Tapsiri Badirri of Pasay City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 115 issued last December 27, 2021.

Tabernilla said the Pasay court issued the warrant of arrest against Naguit who is facing charges for illegal possession of drugs.

He said Naguit is now detained at the police custodial facility.

“Ang Pasay City Police Station ay nagpapatupad ng batas na walang kinikilingan. Kahit mga kilala at maimpluwensya ay hindi palalampasin kung may pagkakasala (The Pasay police will continue to conduct arrests against law offenders),” Tabernilla said.
