Miss Earth beauties in Zamboanga City for swimsuit competition

ZAMBOANGA CITY -- Candidates of the Miss Earth pageant arrived on Tuesday, Nov. 15, for the swimsuit competition on Wednesday night, Nov. 16, in a resort here.

Mayor John Dalipe here welcomed the candidates to the historic Zamboanga City Hall on Wednesday morning.

The candidates visited the world famous pink sand beach of Sta. Cruz Island and mingled with islanders on Wednesday morning.

They were also invited to the MPBL playoff game between the Zamboanga City Family’s Brand Sardines and Bacolod Bingo Plus at the Zamboanga City Coliseum and a dinner hosted by the city government.

The candidates will vie in the much-awaited swimsuit competition at Azzura Beach Resort in Barangay Bolong in the east coast.

Dalipe was all praises for the event as he considered it a big opportunity to promote Zamboanga City internationally.

Together with the Miss Earth candidates were Miss Earth 2021 winner Destiny Wagner from Belize and Miss Earth 2019 Nellys Pimentel from Puerto Rico.
