Female online seller yields 51 grams of shabu in Bacolod buy-bust

BACOLOD CITY -- About 51 grams of suspected shabu worth P346,800 were seized from an online seller during a buy-bust operation at her boarding house in Purok Ylac, Barangay 1 here on Wednesday, Nov. 16.

The subject was identified as Lyna Mabunay, 33, of Barangay 1.

Lt. Joven Mogato, head of City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), said that Mabunay is included in the CDEU’s list of drug personalities here.

She is also a high value individual, considering the volume of the illegal drugs recovered from her, Mogato said.

Mogato said that Mabunay allegedly got the supply of illegal drugs through a contact of her common-law husband, who was jailed for a drug offense in Talisay City, Negros Occidental in 2019.

Mabunay is now facing charges for selling and illegal possession of dangerous drugs. She is detained at Police Station 2.
