KAMPO HEN. PACIANO RIZAL, Sta. Cruz, Laguna – A security guard allegedly involved in a robbery hold-up incident in Cabuyao City on Tuesday morning, Nov. 15, was arrested.
Laguna police provincial director Col. Randy Glenn Silvio identified the suspect as alias Razul, a resident of Guinayangan, Quezon.
The Cabuyao Police said that around 4:30 a.m., the suspect bought cup noodles at a 7/11 convenience store after which he entered the counter booth and pointed a knife to Ricardo Calimoso, a duty crew whom the suspect commanded to open the cash register machine.
The suspect carted away the P3,500 cash sales from the cash register then boarded a passenger jeep bound for Calamba City.
The store’s cashier chased the suspect while shouting for help, before the Barangay Public Safety Office responded which resulted in the arrest of the suspect.
The stolen money was recovered.
The Cabuyao City Philippine National Police is set to file a criminal complaint against the suspect at the city prosecutor's office.
