The Department of Health (DOH) reported on Monday, Nov. 14 that it has recorded 9,069 new Covid-19 cases during the past week.
In its weekly case bulletin, DOH said that the daily average cases are at 1,296 which is 43 percent higher than the cases from Oct. 31 to Nov. 6.
DOH also mentioned that it recorded six cases tagged under severe and critical cases. Currently, there are 613 severe and critical admissions which are 9.2 percent of total Covid-19 admissions.
Meanwhile, 524 or 21.3 percent out of 2,465 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds are being used while 5,363 or 25.8 percent of 20,825 non-ICU beds are being utilized.
On the other hand, DOH also recorded 113 more deaths due to Covid-19 in the past week, 41 of which occurred between Oct. 31 and Nov. 13.
Of the 113 deaths, 39 occurred in November 2022, 42 in October 2022, 13 in September 2022, two in August 2022, four in March 2021, four in February 2021, four in January 2021, one in December 2020, three in November 2020, and one in September 2020.
In terms of Covid-19 vaccination, DOH has recorded 73,644,364 individuals have been fully vaccinated while 20,760,526 have received boosters or additional doses.
