P300,000 shabu seized in Central Luzon buy-busts

Police seized shabu worth nearly P300,000 and arrested three suspected drug pushers in buy-bust operations in Central Luzon over the weekend.

Suspects were identified as Gliber Salde, 42; Jocelyn Castillo, 50, and Jaypee dela Cruz, 32.

Salde and Castillo, both residents of Barangay Kalikid Sur, Cabanatuan City, were arrested in Unity Village, Purok 5, Barangay Kalikid Sur, Cabanatuan.

The duo yielded a 12-gauge shotgun without serial number, eight ammunition for 12-gauge shotgun, and seven heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 20 grams valued at P136,000.

Dela Cruz was arrested in Purok 5, Barangay Nagbunga, Castillejos, Zambales. Seized from the suspect were six heat-sealed sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 20.60 grams valued at P140,000.

Suspects are facing appropriate charges.
