Lindsay Stalzer is excited to face old foe Prisilla Rivera as F2 Logistics tussles with Akari in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The American import, who erupted with 27 points in their five-setter escape against front-runner Creamline Cool Smashers last Nov. 8, is bracing for a battle of power and wits against Rivera.

“In one tournament , in the Dominican Republic and she’s a very impressive player. I think I said earlier power, obviously, but she’s also very very smart and knows when to use the block, has every shot in the book, so it will be a challenge that . I’m just excited to come up against them,” said Stalzer.

After a rough start to the league, the 38-year-old Stalzer was delighted with the Cargo Movers’ attitude on the floor that towed them to their third straight win.

“I’m just super proud of this team for coming together and fighting. And we keep saying this is what we play for, these intense moments where it takes all of your focus and energy to get the job and we did it. And I’m just very happy,” added Stalzer.

Now with a 3-2 win-loss record and a glimpse of a semifinal spot, F2 Logistics will be making use of another one-week preparation time to bring itself closer to the next round.

However, Rivera, who dropped a PVL-best scoring record of 44 points in the Chargers’ five-set win over Choco Mucho Flying Titans last Nov. 3, will attempt to bring the Cargo Movers’ run to an end with her offensive might.
