Urbiztondo PNP displays Christmas tree made of confiscated motorcycle mufflers

PANGASINAN -- Instead of destroying the illegal motorcycle mufflers it has confiscated, the Urbiztondo Philippine National Police has made a beautiful Christmas tree out of them.

These confiscated illegal mufflers were being kept at the back of the police station in Urbiztondo.

“Nasa likod ng station nakatambak tapos naisip ko na lang na ipagawang Christmas tree,” the Urbiztondo PNP chief told Col. Jeff Fanged, officer-in-charge of the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office.

A skilled welder was hired to do the task.

“Umupa kami ng welder na gumawa,” added the Urbiztondo Police chief.

The finished Christmas tree is about 10 feet in height and decorated with about 50 mufflers.

The policemen then added other decorations, including Christmas lights on Urbiztondo PNP’s improvised Christmas tree that has become not only an attraction among the residents, but also went viral on social media.
