Fire hits LTO storage room in QC

A fire broke out at a storage room in the Land Transportation Office (LTO) building along East Avenue, Brgy. Pinyahan, Quezon City on Sunday, Nov. 13.

The Quezon City Fire District (QCFD) said a ceiling fan in the storage room caught fire due to overheating of its fan motor.

The said storage room contains documents of license applications.

The QCFD noted that the fire consumed some documents but said these were no longer valuable because LTO had already processed the papers in 2018.

The fire was raised to first alarm at 11:08 a.m. and was declared under control at 11:14 a.m

It was extinguished at 11:25 a.m.

No one was injured in the incident.
