LOOK: San Jose del Monte's 59-foot tall Christmas tree

San Jose Del Monte City lone district Rep. Florida "Rida" Robes led the recent lighting of the 59-foot tall Christmas tree outside the local city hall.

Taking place last Nov. 7, the tree lighting was a festive occasion capped by a fireworks display. Accompanying Rep. Robes at the event was her husband, San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan Mayor Arthur Robes.

Also on hand for the festivities--which carried the theme, "Liwanag at Pag-asa: Paskong San JoseÃ±o (Light and Hope: Christmas for San JoseÃ±os)"--were other officials and employees of the city. Local residents also witnessed it.

The Robes couple said the colorful Christmas tree was their gift to students of the city who are differently-abled.
