Five-year old boy found dead in irrigation canal in Isabela

ISABELA -- The body of a 5-year-old boy who drowned in an irrigation canal in Barangay Daramuangan Norte San Mateo Isabela was found on Saturday morning, Nov. 11, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management reported on Sunday, Nov. 12.

MDRRMO’s Jovener Dupilas told a local radio station here that the body of the victim was found somewhere in barangay Marasat Pequeño, San Mateo, Isabela.

The victim (name withheld) was reported missing on Friday.

His relatives tried to locate him but failed.

The victim went home after his class but dropped by the irrigation wherein he drowned.
