Cong Migs has advice for fellow 'workaholics'

Don't forget to take care of your mental health, especially if you're a "workaholic".

This was Puwersa ng Bayaning Atleta (PBA) Party-list Rep. Migs Nograles's message to her followers on Facebook Friday, Nov. 11.

In a post, the neophyte lawmaker wrote: "Marami pong nagsasabi na 'workaholic' daw po ako and totoo naman po iyon. Pero nakakahanap din po tayo minsan ng time para makasama mga kaibigan and maka pag 'unwind' dahil po important ang mental health (A lot of people tell me that I'm a 'workaholic', and that's true. But I manage to find time to be with friends and unwind because mental health is important)."

The 32-year-old went on to share how she chose to give herself a break from the busy world of Philippine legislation, at least for this particular weekend.

"Dito po tayo sa go-to place ko rito sa Davao dahil family friends po namin may-ari at masarap po pagkain dito. Hehe! (I'm here at my go-to place in Davao that is owned by our family friends, the food is good too)," Nograles said.

"Wag po kalimutan maghanap ng time para makapag 'unwind' kasama ang mga trusted friends niyo para po sa mental health niyo (For the sake of your mental health, don't forget to find time to 'unwind' with your trusted friends)," she said in her parting shot.
