Push4Science is a program spearheaded by the DOST which aims to promote STEM in public schools, entice students to choose science-related studies at the collegiate level, and reward learners for their academic achievements in the field of science and technology.

Around 300 STEM senior high school students participated in the program, organized by the Pasig Schools Division Office (SDO).

Among the guest scientists who gave their remarks to inspire the Kapitolyo Senior High School students was Engr. Syrus Gomari, who shared his experience in STEM to become a transportation engineer, and helps the local governments of Pasig City and Taguig City.

Dr. Lawrence Limjuco and Michael Vincent Eclevia, a teacher and former DOST scholar, gave their testimonials, and answered the Eusebio High School students’ queries regarding their research projects.

Long-term “Balik Scientist” Dr. Ramuel John Tamargo, also discussed the importance and future of learning STEM in the country to the students of Sta. Lucia High School.
