John Amores accepts invitation from Dyip import Lester Prosper

It seemed like embattled JRU forward John Amores is willing to take the steps towards the right direction in hopes to rectify his actions following his involvement in a series of on-court melee that led to his indefinite suspension in the NCAA.

According to a reliable source, Amores had already reached out to the camp of Terrafirma import Lester Prosper after the latter invited the heavy-handed JRU player for a dinner in hopes to lend an ear and offer him some advice.

It can be recalled the Dyip reinforcement took to his social media account to reach out to Amores who charged towards the CSB Blazers bench before punching Jimboy Pasturan and Taine Davis in their game last Tuesday, Nov. 8.

On Thursday, both Davis and Pasturan, accompanied by CSB head coach Charles Tiu, filed charges against Amores.

Incidentally, it was not the first time that a case was filed against Amores as the UP management also sued him for a separate punching incident involving the Fighting Maroons’ rookie Mark Belmonte during the UCBL Invitational last August.

“You never know what someone’s going through in life, maybe I can help, if not, it’s okay. I just know how it feels to have built up anger and no one is there to talk to and give you real advice, especially at that age,” Prosper earlier wrote.

There’s no definite date yet about the meeting but according to the same source, the private dinner will most likely happen sometime next week.
