It's official: BTS' RM to release solo album in December
After Jin, K-pop group BTS’ RM is the next member to release a solo album.
Big Hit Music has announced that RM will drop his first official solo album titled “Indigo” in December.

“We are excited to announce that RM, the leader of BTS, is preparing to release his first official solo album,” the agency said.
It added, “RM has already given fans an honest look into his world through two Mixtapes. Through Indigo, RM delivers his candid thoughts and feelings and showcases a wide-ranging music through collaborations with various artists. We hope everyone’s excited about RM’s latest release!”
“Indigo” will be released at 2 p.m. KST (1 p.m. in the Philippines) on Dec. 2. Pre-orders for the album will start at 11 a.m. KST on Nov. 15.
RM will be the third member of BTS to officially have a solo release. J-Hope released his “Jack in the Box’ album in July followed by Jin’s “The Astronaut” on Oct. 28.
He previously released the mixtapes “RM” in 2015 and “Mono” in 2018.
In the video “2022 HYBE Briefing with the Community” released by HYBE on YouTube on Nov. 10, HYBE CEO Park Jiwon announced RM’s solo project.
The CEO said, “BTS, as previously announced, will concentrate on individual activities for the time being. RM plans to release a solo album shortly after Jin who released a single album.”
