BACOLOD CITY -- A four-year old girl died after she drowned in a river in Barangay San Agustin, Isabela, Negros Occidental on Thursday, Nov. 10.
The name of the victim was withheld.
Capt. Joseph Partidas, Isabela police chief, said the victim went to the river with her sibling to swim.
However, her older sibling, who was too busy enjoying and diving in the river, failed to notice her.
Her older brother and their other companions searched for her until she was found floating in the river three hours later.
She was taken to a hospital, but was declared dead on arrival.
