The Airport Police Department did not reveal the identity of the four suspects who were placed under the custody of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) pending the result of an investigation to determine the brains behind the group's modus operandi.

According to the airport police, the suspects were caught carrying fake Airport ID or access pass as they identified themselves as airport concessionaires or staff of fast food inside in the NAIA departure.

It was found out that the suspects attempted to board different flights going to Middle East before they were captured.

An immigration employee was identified by the Airport Police Department as one of the persons of interest in the said modus operandi but no name was revealed in order to avoid their follow up operation from being jeopardized.

Accordingly, the immigration employee guided the suspects one by one and instructed them what to do and where they will pass through to board their flight using photos and videos on their cellphones.

However, their plan was spoiled when the suspects were detected to have been using fake airport IDs.

At present, security personnel for the Manila International Airport employees have been undergoing rigid inspection to avoid and stop the same modus operandi from happening.
