Woman yields P680K 'shabu' in Caloocan buy-bust

A woman yielded P680,000 worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS) Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) in Barangay 188 in the city early Thursday morning, Nov. 10.

The SDEU identified the suspect as Erlina Acao, 54, from the same barangay.

Members of the SDEU launched the entrapment against the suspect along Fahad St,, Brgy. 188 at around 2 a.m. on Thursday, after receiving information about her illegal drug activities in the area.

Police seized from the suspect around 100 grams of alleged shabu worth P680,000, the buy-bust money, and a brown coin purse

Acao and the pieces of evidence recovered were brought to the SDEU office for documentation.

She will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9167 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), the police said.
