The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), on Thursday, Nov. 10, said 3,826 individuals out of 5,958 examinees have passed the October 2022 Physician Licensure Examination.
The exam was given by the Board of Medicine in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga in October 2022.
Angeles University Foundation emerged as the top-performing institution, gaining 100 percent passing rate. It was followed by Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (97.22 percent), St. Luke’s Medical Center College of Medicine - William H. Quasha Memorial Inc. (95.74 percent), Cebu Institute of Medicine and University of the Philippines Manila (95.65 percent), Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health (94.44 percent), University of Cebu College of Medicine (93.94 percent), University of Santo Tomas (90.43 percent), West Visayas State University - La Paz (89.19 percent), and University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (87.40 percent).
Meanwhile, Justin Adriel Zent Gautier Togonon of UP Manila garnered the highest place in the said exam with a rating of 89 percent.
“The date and venue the oathtaking ceremony will be announced later,” said PRC.
