Park Eun-bin voted best actor of 2022; 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' chosen best drama
Korean actress Park Eun-bin and her drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” were voted the No. 1 best actor and best drama of 2022.
In celebration of its 18th anniversary, Korean media outlet Joy News 24 conducted a survey from Sept. 19 to Oct. 4 among 200 entertainment industry workers including employees of entertainment and broadcasting companies, film and broadcast content producers and entertainment reporters.

Best Actors of 2022
In the survey, Park Eun-bin got 118 votes or 59 percent of the 200 respondents to emerge as the No. 1 best actor of 2022.
Through “Extraordinary Attorney Woo,” Park Eun-bin captured the hearts of viewers around the world with her outstanding acting skills, according to Joy News 24.
"Thank you for choosing me as the best actor in 2022,” she told Joy News 24. "I want to show a good side of myself next year."
Tied for second place in the survey for best actor of 2022 with 14 votes each are Son Seok-koo of “My Liberation Notes” and Kim Tae-ri of “Twenty Five Twenty One.”
Lee Byung-hun of the drama “Our Blues” placed fourth with 13 votes while Hwang Jung-min of “Narco-Saints” grabbed fifth place with seven votes and Lee Jung-jae of “Squid Game” took sixth place with six votes.
Best Korean Dramas of 2022
The respondents were also asked to pick the best Korean drama of 2022.
“Extraordinary Attorney Woo” was chosen as No. 1 by a whopping 131 respondents or 65 percent. The drama topped Netflix’s weekly Global Top 10 chart for weeks.
Season 2 for the drama is under consideration and the drama has received remake proposals in the US and Japan, reported Joy News 24.
Getting second place for best Korean drama of 2022 is tvN’s “Our Blues” with 28 votes. It starred Lee Byung-hun, Shin Min-a, Uhm Jung-hwa, Han Ji-min, Cha Seung-won, Lee Jung-eun and Kim Woo-bin.
In third place is JTBC’s “My Liberation Notes” with 26 votes.
Also ranking in the survey were “Twenty Five Twenty One” (13 votes); “Big Mouth,” “Narco-Saints,” “Through The Darkness” (seven votes) and “Anna,” “Semantic Error,” “Alchemy of Souls” and “Juvenile Justice” (five votes).
