BAGUIO CITY -- Regaining the bantamweight title is still the biggest goal of Kevin Belingon as he steps into the Circle once more after a year of hiatus.

Belingon, who is finally seeing action on Nov. 19, though wants to take it one match at a time when he takes on South Korean opponent Kim Jae Woong on Nov. 18.
After a string of defeats, four straight times to be exact, Belingon wants nothing but a much-needed reset to remake another run in his storied career.
For the former bantamweight king, a win against Kim is a must as far as him being relegated to the rankings.
It will be a long and winding road again for the Team Lakay veteran as the bantamweight class is currently stacked, given the huge names in Fabricio Andrade, former champions John Lineker and Bibiano Fernandes, Kwon Won Il and even teammate Stephen Loman.
Breaking the curse would the first step for him to get back to his winning ways.
"Sana manalo tayo rito and tuloy-tuloy panalo natin. 'Yon 'yong goal natin pero ss ngayon kailangang manalo. 'Yong title shot darating din 'yon," said Belingon, who holds a 20-9 record.
"Kailangan ko muna manalo nang maibalik. Determinado ako ngayon sa laban na 'to. Nandon pa rin 'yong fire. Kailangan nating maibalik 'yong Kevin Belingon na tumalo kay Bibiano, kay Martin Nguyen."
Belingon's latest win came from Fernandes in their first bout due to disqualification but he eventually lost in their fabled trilogy.
After the loss, the Team Lakay stalwart also absorbed back-to-back losses against Lineker and Kwon.
