Silay's top drug personality, 'runner' nabbed in buy-bust

BACOLOD CITY -- A woman tagged as number one in the priority target list of personalities involved in illegal drugs in Silay City, Negros Occidental, and her alleged drug runner were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mambulac on Tuesday, Nov. 8.

Celeste Gulmatico, 39, and Wynn Aguilar, 48, both residents of Barangay Mambulac, allegedly yielded 18 grams of shabu worth P122,400 during buy-bust operation.

According to the police, Gulmatico, the subject of the operation, is a high value individual, while Aguilar is a newly-identified individual in illegal drugs trade.

A man from Barangay Mambulac was also arrested in a drug bust in Barangay 5 in the said city also on Monday.

Police confiscated from him 11 grams of shabu worth P74,800.
