Only 9,207 examinees finish first day of 2022 online Bar examinations -- SC

Only 9,207 of the 9,821 new examinees and repeaters who were registered for the first day of the 2022 online and regionalized Bar examinations took the tests on Wednesday, Nov. 9, in 14 testing centers nationwide.
This means that only 9,207 examinees are qualified to take the second day of the examinations set on Nov. 13. The last two days of the examinations will be on Nov. 16 and 20.
It was not known as of posting how many of the 5,847 first time examinees and 3,974 repeaters took the tests.
Supreme Court (SC) Associate Justice Alfredo Benjamin S. Caguioa, chairperson of the 2022 Bar examinations committee, said the examinations “went well and smoothly.”
Caguioa said he was “very pleased” and expressed hopes “for the same results in the remaining Bar exams days.”
The subjects covered on Nov. 9 were Political Law and International Law, morning, and Labor Law, afternoon. On Nov. 13, the subjects would be Criminal Law (and practical exercises), morning, and Commercial law, afternoon; Nov. 16, Civil Law I, morning, and Civil Law II (and practical exercises), afternoon; and Nov. 20, Remedial Law I, morning, and Remedial Law II (with basic tax remedies) and Legal Ethics, afternoon.
The examination periods are from 8 a.m. to noon and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
