I was able to work with Vivamax actress Debbie Garcia in her recent movie in Vivamax “5-in-1” starring Wilbert Ross. After seeing the viral video that she was in an altercation with actress Barbie Imperial I immediately called her for an interview. “Ate Gee, I apologize but I have already filed a case and my lawyer has advised me that any comment on my end moving forward will be released through my legal counsel," the sexy actress tells Gossip Girl.
Her manager Viva Artists Agency has also released a statement: “ Viva Artists Agency does not condone any act of violence. VAA therefore fully supports its artist, Debbie Garcia, in taking legal action against her attacker in an incident of violence last Oct 28,2022 (Friday) at a gastropub in Quezon City. Debbie is set to lodge a complaint against the other person with the assistance of her counsel on November 2, 2022. VAA believes that Debbie has been at the receiving end of physical and verbal attacks in the said incident. VAA however kindly asks the public to refrain from further circulating copies of the video recording of the said incident on social media and allow the matter to be resolved legally.”
This is not the first time the actress has been physically harmed. Last year, from March 1 to April 1, Debbie was in the hospital due to a major car accident. “I was so tired from a lock-in shoot and I fell asleep while driving. I was wearing a seatbelt so my face got saved but my internal organs were smashed especially my small intestines. I went home from the hospital with the colostomy bag. I couldn’t poop on my own because my intestines were still healing. So right after I eat it goes out to the colostomy bag. This was my life for three months. Then I had to go back to the hospital for another operation. I lost so much weight so I needed practically the rest of the year to recuperate my organs, gain weight and muscle for my future projects," Debbie opens up to Gossip Girl.
I told Debbie to stay strong. She may not understand right now why bad things happen to good people but sooner or later, God will reveal why all these things are happening to her. Thankfully Debbie is spiritually strong as well. “The enemy has been wanting my soul. But I have a strong relationship with God. The enemy will never get me. Kung dati kaya niya ako, ngayon hindi na. Niligtas na ako ni God. Hindi na tayo babalik sa pagiging pasaway. So many things have happened in my life. My brother died of kidney failure, I even fainted when I found out. I am now taking care of my lola and my brother’s kid. Then the pandemic hit and I had no work. When my work resumed, after my first project, I met an accident that left me with huge hospital bills and halted work for almost a year, and now this legal battle. But I know God is allowing all of these to happen for a reason. At alam niya, just like my car accident, I will get through this," Debbie says with faith and hope in her heart.
I am just praying that forgiveness may reign over the two beautiful actresses as well. We can never tell maybe these two will kiss and make up and make a movie together. Let time heal all of Debbie’s wounds physically and spiritually.
