“Wala tayong inaasahang bagyo na papasok ng Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) sa susunod na limang araw. But take note po na for the month of November, possible ‘yung dalawa hanggang tatlong bagyo na papasok ng PAR (We are not expecting any tropical cyclone to enter PAR in the next five days. But take note that for the month of November, two to three cyclones may enter PAR),” said PAGASA Weather Specialist Benison Estareja in a public weather forecast.

Although no tropical cyclones will affect the country, other weather systems may bring rains in various parts of the Philippines in the next 24-hour period.

Residents of Batanes and Babuyan Islands may experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to shear line.

Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms may also prevail over Aurora, Quezon, Camarines Provinces, southern portion of Palawan, Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi due to intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ).

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, may expect partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to the combined effects of the ITCZ and localized thunderstorms.
