The city government of Pasay City launched the “vax-baby-vax”, a routine catch-up immunization for children aged zero to 23 months old.
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano told parents with children aged between zero and 23 months old, who have not completed the vaccination against children diseases, to visit any of the 13 health centers in the city nearest to their place or call for the schedule of immunization.
Rubiano said aside from children who have not completed the vaccination, kids who failed to receive jabs on their scheduled date, may also visit the nearest health centers.
She said the routine catch-up immunization will be conducted from Nov. 7 to 18.
The mayor said “para mas protektado si baby (for babies to be more protected), it is necessary they receive vaccines against polio, measles, hepatitis B, pneumonia, and other vaccine preventable diseases (VPDs)”.
Rubiano said told parents it is now the right time for babies to receive vaccines against children diseases.
