Millionaire after millionaire: Lone bettors hit Lotto 6/42, Grand Lotto 6/55 jackpot on Saturday evening draw

The jackpot prizes for Lotto 6/42 worth P15,395,114.80 and Grand Lotto 6/55 worth P29,700,000 were hit on the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO)'s 9 p.m. draw on Saturday, Nov. 5.

In an advisory, PCSO said that a lone bettor was able to guess the winning numbers for Lotto 6/42 which were 31-32-08-25-29-14.

Twenty-two players got the second prize worth P24,000 while 1,469 won the third prize worth P800.

A solo bettor also guessed the lucky combination for Grand Lotto which was 40-03-34-37-19-15.

Twelve players will take home P100,000 after winning the game's second prize while 550 won the third prize of P1,500.

On Friday, Nov. 4, a solo bettor from Taytay, Rizal won Mega Lotto 6/45's jackpot prize worth P21,436,089.60.

According to PCSO, all lotto prizes above P10,000 are subject to 20 percent tax under Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion Law.

Prizes not claimed within one year after the draw shall be considered forfeited by Republic Act No. 1169, PCSO added.
