Honor student from Manila is newest Ultimate Bida Star

Sophia Mendoza, a 20-year-old consistent honor student from Manila, was hailed as the"Bida Star Versus'"Ultimate Bida Star last Monday (Oct.31) after receiving a total combined score of 67.92from judges and netizens' votes.

She impressed the judges in "The Final Spotlight," where she delivered a monologue she created about a painful experience in her life. As the winner of Bida Star, she won P50,000, an ABS-CBN management contract, a Star Magic workshop scholarship, guestings in other ABS-CBN digital shows, and a chance to be part of a PIE Channel project.
