BACOLOD CITY -- An alleged member of a drug group who was arrested sometime in 2019 but was released from jail in 2020 through plea bargaining was arrested anew on Thursday, Nov. 3, after he reportedly went back to his illegal ways.
Ronald Tamayo, 47, was nabbed in a boarding house in Barangay 1, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental after he yielded 15 grams of shabu worth P102,000, said Kabankalan police chief Lt. Col. Alvimar Flores.
Tamayo returned to his illegal activities reportedly to sustain his medication.
Police also confiscated from him the P1,000 marked money, and drug paraphernalia.
Flores said that Tamayo would allegedly transact with his clients in various boarding houses so that he won’t be easily traced.
Flores added that Tamayo is a high value individual.
