6 die in Navotas fire

Six persons, including four minors, died during a fire that gutted their house at Area 5, Barangay Dagat-dagatan in Navotas City on Friday morning, Nov. 4.

The Navotas City Fire Station said the fire started in the bedroom on the second floor of the house.

Fire investigators said couple Donsito Boiser, 41, and Reynosa Muscoso, 41, died along with their two daughters aged two and three, 10-year-old son, and 14-year-old niece when they were trapped inside their burning house.

The victims were asleep when the incident happened, according to the fire station report.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said the fire was raised to first alarm at around 5:21 a.m. and extinguished at around 5:44 a.m.

Probers are still conducting investigation to determine the cause of fire.
