MB Daily News Update: 'Undeniable, there is climate change' – PBBM

Surveying the damage brought by severe tropical storm Paeng in Maguindanao, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. noted that the communities ravaged by flash floods and landslides were those located in deforested areas, and these places weren’t hit by severe weather disturbances in the past.

Meanwhile, “Paeng” has finally left the country’s area of responsibility, but not before leaving 110 persons dead, P2 billion in agriculture and infrastructure damage.

And tropical storm Queenie, which approached the country’s eastern seaboard just as Paeng was making its way out of the country, has weakened into a tropical depression.
