Four men involved in gang rape in Tarlac arrested

CAMP GENERAL FRANCISCO S. MACABULOS, Tarlac City – Four men allegedly involved in a gang rape in Brgy. Guiteb, Ramos, Tarlac were arrested by the Ramos Police on Tuesday, October 31.

A report from Major Elany Vallangca, Chief of Police of Ramos Philippine National Police, said that the victim (name and address withheld) and the suspects had a drinking spree at around 9 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30.

However, the suspects took advantage when the victim was already drunk. The suspects allegedly brought her to a rice field in Brgy. Guiteb, Ramos where they took turns in sexually molesting the victim.

After committing the crime, the suspects allegedly dropped the victim somewhere in Gerona, Tarlac.

The Ramos PNP though was able to arrest the suspects in the hot pursuit.

Documents are now being prepared for filing of appropriate charges against the suspects.
