As the country observes All Saints’ Day today, the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) said that those who cannot visit their dearly departed in cemeteries can still submit their Mass intentions online.
The CBCP said that the faithful may submit their Mass intentions on this webpage: https://cbcpnews.net/cbcpnews/mass-intentions/.
“Churches and cemeteries will be open on All Saints and All Souls Days. But for those who won’t make it to churches and cemeteries—and those who still see the threat of the pandemic, we still offer online masses and mass intentions for the souls of their loved ones,” the CBCP said in a social media post.
“Should you wish to request for prayers and/or Masses to be said for the souls of your loved ones and the poor souls in purgatory, kindly click the link to the online form provided,” it added.
For the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic hit the country, the government has allowed Filipinos to visit their departed loved ones in cemeteries and columbariums.
The Department of Health (DOH) reminded the public to still observe the minimum public health standards to protect themselves against the Covid-19 virus.
