BANAUE, Ifugao – In the celebration of National Teachers' Month, personnel of the Ifugao Provincial Police Office conducted a ‘School Teacher for a Day’ at Gohang National High School in Banaue town in Ifugao, on Friday, Oct. 7.

According to the Ifugao PPO, personnel of the 2nd Ifugao Provincial Mobile Force Company and Banaue Municipal Police Station in coordination with the school, replaced the teachers in teaching Math and English lessons.
The police have also taken advantage of providing information on some advocacy of the Philippine National Police such as substance abuse prevention, avoiding bullying, as well as the effects of terrorism in the country.
Their ‘School Teacher for a Day" activity ended with a flag lowering ceremony led by the police.
Meanwhile, members of the Public Safety Basic Recruit Course Class 2018-01 Kasandagan surprised two grandmothers from Pudtol, Apayao with gifts on their class anniversary.
They chose a grandmother who is over 100 years old and her daughter who is also a grandmother.
Due to old age, the said grandmother is lying on her bed with her daughter who also has blurred vision, the only one taking care of her.
They gave them two sacks of rice, assorted groceries, hygiene kits, kitchen stove, LPG tank and kitchen utensils among others.
