DIADI, Nueva Vizcaya -- A notorious carnapper was arrested in a hot pursuit operation in Brgy. Decabacan on Saturday, Oct. 8.

The suspect was identified as Clarence Cabeson, 23, of Poblacion, Diadi, Nueva Vizcaya.
Police reports said that a victim identified as Francisco Concillo personally went to the Diadi Philippine National Police to report that his single black Honda Click 125 motorcycle and his cellular phone (Oppo) were missing and allegedly stolen by the suspect.
The Diadi police led by their chief, Major Roderick A. Rabago, immediately conducted a hot pursuit operation for the arrest of the suspect described as male and on board the stolen motorcycle.
The suspect was reportedly seen in the direction of Brgy. Nagsabaran.
Upon arrival at the said place, the operatives saw and chased the fleeing suspect until he was caught.
The arresting Diadi operatives recovered from the victim the stolen motorcycle and the cellular phone. The police also found a caliber .38 with three rounds of ammunition from the suspect.
A check by the investigators on the suspect record showed Cabeson had been arrested also on Oct. 14, 2020, for the same crime.
Cases for violations of RA 10883 (New Anti-Carnapping Law), RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) and Qualified Theft will be filed against the suspect before the Office of Prosecutor.
