Lone bettor takes home P38.2-million Lotto 6/42 jackpot

A solo bettor hit the jackpot prize for Lotto 6/42 worth P38,200,752.40 on its 9 p.m. draw on Saturday, Oct. 8.

The winning combination was 39-42-23-33-32-12 as per the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).

Also, 52 bettors got the second prize worth P24,000 and 1,882 players won the third prize worth P800.

Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday evening.

The jackpot for Lotto 6/42 was previously bagged by a lone bettor from Valenzuela City last Sept. 16 who took home P56,654,977.20.

Meanwhile, the jackpot for Grand Lotto 6/55 worth P29,700,000 was not hit on the same draw.

The lucky numbers were 22-06-43-42-17 -44.

Four bettors got the second prize worth P100,000 and 339 players won the third prize worth P1,5000.

As per PCSO, all lotto prizes above P10,000 are subject to 20 percent tax pursuant to Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion Law.

Prizes not claimed within one year after the draw shall be considered forfeited by Republic Act No. 1169, PCSO added.
