Drug pusher nabbed in Bacolod sting

BACOLOD CITY – Police arrested a suspected drug pusher in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Tangub here on Thursday, Oct. 6.

Major Joery Puerto, head of the Police Station 8, said the suspect, Ma. Glosita Guilaran, 52, of Barangay Tangub, is a street-level individual and yielded 27 grams of suspected shabu worth P183,600.

She is in the drugs watchlist of the barangay and the police, according to Puerto.

Police said that Guilaran was influenced by his live-in partner to engage in the illegal drugs trade and that she replaced her live-in partner in jail because of a drug offense.

Puerto said that the suspect was charged on Friday, Oct. 7, for sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs.
