Businessman found dead with multiple stab wounds in Isabela

ALICIA, Isabela -- A 52-year old businessman was found dead with multiple stab wounds and a slit on his throat near a warehouse in Callao this town on Saturday, Oct. 8.

Isabela Police Provincial Office identified the victim as Cesar Ong of Antonino, Alicia, Isabela.

Police said they had received a call from a concerned citizen, informing them that a cadaver was found outside a warehouse in Callao, Alicia.

Authorities learned that a certain Berling Navelga, driver and worker of the victim, arrived at the warehouse and was surprised when he saw the victim bathing in his own blood.

Police said the victim sustained less than 10 stab wounds and slit in his throat.

Police are still looking into the motive of the crime and the perpetrators behind the killing.
