Now that we're slowly opening the economy up, it's high time we support our own local businesses. But where to start?

Kultura at The Podium is holding its Christmas Market from Oct. 6 to 19, and it gives us a glimpse of what's in store in all Kultura branches nationwide. Taking inspiration from the christkindlmarkts in Germany, Kultura aims to bring the fun of shopping for holiday gifts via their Christmas market that will run in stores until Dec. 31.

Check out the many sustainable parols that you can hang at homeâ€”from raffia, abaca, and burlap that are all made by our local artisans. Give the holidays a Filipino twist with Santa Claus in traditional Filipino attire and tree ornaments made of capiz.

Foldable lanterns make for great gift suggestions, especially if you're sending them abroad or bringing with you to give to your relatives if you're traveling for the holidays. There are also inabel blankets, runners, and throws to choose from, and you can avail of embroidered monogram services to make it more personalized. There are also local liquor and flavored teas, coffee, and chocolate.
