5 out of 433 6/55 jackpot winners from Zamboanga Peninsula

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Five out of 433 winners in the Grand Lotto 6/55 draw on Saturday, Oct. 1, are from the Zamboanga Peninsula, records from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office here said.

Pilarcita Florentes, PCSO Zamboanga del Sur acting branch manager, said on Tuesday, Oct. 4, that three of the winners are from Zamboanga del Sur, one from Zamboanga del Norte, and another from Zamboanga Sibugay.

The winners placed their bets in one of 190 lotto outlets in the region.

Like the other 428 winners, all five got the winning combination 9-45-36-27-18-54.

The winners won P545,245.24 each, subject to a 20 percent withholding tax.

Florentes reiterated the integrity of lotto draws. "Ito ‘yung larong may puso. Tumaya ka na, nanalo ka, at nakatulong sa charity (This is the game with a heart. You place a bet, win, and contribute to charity)."
