PRC sets virtual oathtaking of new mining engineers on Oct. 14

The oathtaking for Mining Engineers Licensure Examination passers will be held virtually on Oct. 14 at 10 a.m., said the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

“Inductees shall wear a formal or business attire and use a white backdrop (white physical or virtual background) throughout the oathtaking ceremony,” PRC reminded.

New mining engineers must secure an online appointment schedule at the PRC official website, the commission said.

“The online registration will close five (5) calendar days before the virtual oathtaking day,” PRC added.

The Mining Licensure board exams, conducted last August and September, produced new 253 mining engineers.
