Padilla meets with officials of storm-hit BARMM

Senator Robinhood C. Padilla met with officials of storm-hit Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) on Sunday, October 30, 2022.

The meeting between BARMM officials, and Padilla and two Cabinet secretaries, and other ranking national government officials was to determine what needs to be done to help residents affected by storm ‘’Paeng.’’

Padilla chairs the Senate Committee on Cultural Communities and Muslim Affairs.

While commercial flights to Mindanao were canceled due to bad weather conditions, Padilla joined these officials who flew there.

They included Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benhur Abalos; Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Erwin Tulfo Special; Assistant to the President Anton Lagdameo and Department of National Defence (DND) Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Jose Faustino Jr.
