The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has remained in full force to handle huge number of travelers going in and out of the country for the long All Souls' Day weekend.

BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco said the bureau deployed enough manpower to handle the influx of travelers to neutralize the the nationwide onslaught of Severe Tropical Storm Paeng.
“Our officers remain in full force to avoid service interruptions during this long Undas weekend and secure the country's borders," said Tansingco.
The BI chief said additional personnel have been assigned in all international airports, and rapid response teams were in place to ensure that all counters at the ports are manned.
He noted that many passengers were affected by the typhoon due to the cancellation of domestic and international flights.
“Despite the adverse weather, our immigration officers remain on duty, braving heavy rains and floods to report for duty and perform our mandate,” he said.
"We remain true to our duty as public servants and continue providing quality service," he added.
