2 young men killed in Negros motorcycle crash

BACOLOD CITY – Two persons were killed in a motorcycle crash in Purok Cubay, Barangay Alicante, E.B. Magalona, Negros Occidental on Sunday, Oct. 30.

Police identified the victims as Joey Ello, 22, and Allan Paul Balino, 21, residents of Barangay Manta-angan, E.B. Magalona.

Capt. Eric Doronilla, E.B. Magalona police chief, said the victims were on their way home when their motorcycle crashed into the barangay concrete post while approaching the curve part of the road.

Doronilla said the area, where the accident happened, is not well-lighted.

The victims were taken to the Teresita Lopez Jalandoni Memorial Provincial Hospital in Silay City where they died.

Doronilla said that victims were not wearing helmets.
