Revilla sends aid to victims of TS 'Paeng' in Cavite; vows to help other places hit by storm
Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. on Sunday, October 30 immediately visited five major areas in the province of Cavite that were heavily devastated by Severe Tropical Storm Paeng.

Revilla, together with his staff, distributed and provided aid to victims of the disaster in Kawit, Bacoor, Tanza, Amaya and the town of Noveleta in Cavite which suffered torrential rain.
The veteran politician and lawmaker distributed packed meals and family food packs to the families staying at evacuation centers and covered courts.
Revilla vowed to move his relief distribution program to other parts of the country that have also been devastated by Paeng.
“Sa mga kababayan ko, karamay n’yo ako sa inyong pinagdaraanan at asahan ninyong isa sa mga araw na ito ay sisikapin kong makarating sa iba pang mga nasalantang lugar na sana lahat ay personal kong mapuntahan (To my compatriots, I sympathize with what you are going through and expect that one of these days I will try to reach other devastated areas that I hope I can personally go to),” Revilla said in a statement.
“I just prioritized some towns in Cavite even though the weather is still bad and there is still a threat of a typhoon because it is so close (Sadyang inuna ko lamang ang ilang bayan sa Cavite kahit masama pa rin ang panahon at may banta pa ng bagyo dahil malapit lamang),” he further said.
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said the death toll from ‘Paeng’ has risen to 48, the number of injuries at 40 while 20 individuals have been reported missing.
The NDRRMC also said that a total of 277,383 families or 932,077 individuals in 2,445 barangays were reported displaced.
