P23.3 million aid released so far for 'Paeng' victims—DSWD
Assistance worth P23,356,611.81 was released for tropical storm Paeng victims as per the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) 6 a.m. report on Sunday, Oct. 30.

This amount came from DSWD, local government units, and non-government organizations.
The agency said that there is still P1,494,617,035.98 worth of standby and stockpile funds ready to be distributed for Paeng relief operations.
According to the report, there were 1,261,573 individuals nationwide affected by the calamity.
There were also 153,093 individuals who sought temporary shelter in evacuation centers while 111,328 were in other places.

One hundred twenty-three houses were totally destroyed by the tropical storm while 546 were partially damaged, DSWD added.
Earlier today, 106 evacuees from Buhi, Camarines Sur received family food packs (FFPs) from the DSWD field office.
On Oct. 29, DSWD XII distributed 107 FFPs for Paeng victims in Midsayap, Cotabato.
FFPs were also sent at Lebak, Sultan Kudarat through the Philippine Army 6th Infantry Division's Black Hawk chopper.
One hundred fifty-seven locally stranded individuals at Pier 4, North Port, Manila also received food assistance on the same date as per the directive of DSWD NCR Regional Director Pinky Romualdez.
