DSWD needs volunteers for 'Paeng' food repacking operations

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on Sunday, Oct. 30, called for volunteers who will repack food items for families devastated by tropical storm Paeng.

The repacking operation will be from Oct. 30 to Nov. 11 at the DSWD National Resource Operations Center in Chapel Rd., Brgy. 195, Pasay City.

Civilian volunteers who are interested to help need to send a text message or call Clifford Gabatin at 0956-9226155 while those who are employed at DSWD Central Office and willing to join shall contact Ma. Arlyn A. Gerez at 0999-9909617, the agency said.

Volunteers were also advised to bring their Covid-19 vaccination card and personal water bottle container.
